Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and use of sauna services provided by Lava Sauna (“we,” “our,” or “us”) at www.lavasauna.nl
and at our physical locations in the Netherlands.

1. Bookings and Payment
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been completed.
All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.
Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings are not affected.
Bookings are personal and may not be resold without our permission.

2. Capacity and Entry
Each 80-minute session can host up to 20 guests.
Please arrive a few minutes early, as entry and exit times are fixed.
Guests must be 16 years or older to use the sauna.
Management may refuse entry for health or safety reasons.

3. Use of Facilities
Phones, photography, and video are not permitted inside the sauna.
Please respect staff instructions and other guests.
Keep noise to a reasonable level and maintain a calm atmosphere.
Always sit or lie on a towel and use the facilities responsibly.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You can cancel your booking up to 2 hours before your session for a full refund.
You can also reschedule free of charge up to 2 hours before your session.
Late cancellations or no-shows cannot be refunded or credited.

5. Health, Safety, and Alcohol Use
Sauna use may not be suitable for everyone, including people who are pregnant or have heart conditions, high blood pressure, or recent surgery.
Stay hydrated before, during, and after your visit.
We may serve alcohol, but drinking before or during sauna use is at your own risk.
Combining heat and alcohol can cause dehydration, dizziness, or fainting.
If you feel unwell, exit the sauna immediately and inform a staff member.
Management may deny entry or service if a guest appears intoxicated or unfit to participate.
By booking, you accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during your visit.

6. Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Please store valuables securely or keep them with you.
Any damage to our equipment or property caused by a guest will be charged at replacement cost.

7. Service Changes or Closures
We may need to cancel or modify sessions due to maintenance, safety, or weather.
If that happens, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
We will notify affected guests as soon as possible.

8. Liability
Participation in sauna sessions is voluntary and at your own risk.
Lava Sauna and its staff are not liable for injury, illness, or other damages resulting from misuse of facilities or failure to follow safety guidance, except in cases of proven negligence.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The most recent version is always available at www.lavasauna.nl
